Our sand bag fillers are also known as gravity baggers or hoppers. They are used to speed up the process of filling hessian bags and rid the need to manually shovel sand to fill bags. The unit is easily moved around site via crane or forklift.
Sand bags are used on construction sites for shoring works, erosion control and traffic control. They can also be used to prevent or reduce flood water damage, acting as a barrier to divert moving water around. They can also be used for pebbles, stones and gravel. They are commonly filled by skid steer loaders.

How To Use A Sandbag Filler
Fill the sandbag filler with material.
Hook one side of the sandbag onto pins.
Hold the bags other side with your hands.
Push the foot pedal to release the mechanism and allow the flow of material.
Release the pedal to stop filling.
Unhook the bag when complete.
