Our crane personnel boxes, also known as crane boxes or man crane boxes are designed for carrying personnel via crane to out of reach working areas. Commonly used when scaffolding and elevated working platforms are not practical.
Our range
Our crane personnel box range has a variety of sizes, shown below, ranging from a 4 man box, down to a single man box. Available in closed and open tops . They have forklift pockets and lifting lugs which enable maneuverability via forklift or crane. The doors are inward opening only and self-closing with a latch to prevent unintentional opening during work.
Each crane personnel box comes with lifting chains and a current engineers certificate. Safety harnesses should be worn with use and they are also available for hire. They fit within the Australian man cage regulations. It is also important to know the difference between crane boxes and a first aid cages.
