The Plant Yard has pedestrian ramps for hire. They are the perfect solution to providing safe pedestrian access over common construction site obstacles such as: concrete pumping lines, cables and trenches. Conveniently, they can be unloaded and assembled by hand. Included in the ramp set is a centre ramp, two end ramps and 4 rounded pedestrian friendly ends. They are also painted with a non slip, high visibility and grit based yellow paint

Pedestrian Ramps

Our pedestrian ramps, also known as foot bridges, offer a safe, effective, and council-compliant solution for maintaining pedestrian access across common construction site hazards. Designed specifically to bridge over obstacles such as concrete pumping lines, electrical cables, open trenches, and uneven ground surfaces, these ramps help keep foot traffic flowing smoothly and safely—minimising disruption while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Each pedestrian ramp set includes a centre ramp, two end ramps, and four rounded, pedestrian-friendly ends that eliminate sharp edges and reduce trip hazards. To enhance visibility and slip resistance, the ramps are coated in a bright yellow, grit-based non-slip paint. This high-visibility finish helps reduce the risk of slips and trips in wet or low-light conditions, improving site safety for pedestrians, including workers and members of the public.

The ramps are durable, lightweight, aluminium ramps which are able to be man handled into position. They are lightweight and modular, the ramp components are designed for quick and easy manual handling—no heavy lifting equipment is required for unloading or assembly. They can be positioned and installed on-site in a matter of minutes, making them ideal for fast-paced or temporary works.

These aluminium ramps provide the main advantage of not requiring machinery to move and assemble them. In addition to being council compliant there are also disability ramp compliant providing the 1 in 14 gradient.
