Rumble Grids
Our heavy duty rumble grids are also known as wheel washes and tire cleaning grates. The grids are designed to remove dirt and mud from heavy vehicles leaving muddy construction sites via vibration. Commonly our grids are combined to create a system whereby the vehicles can pass over 5 to 10 metres depending on your work site size.
Rumble grid hire ensures that the local roads surrounding your site remain clean. Importantly, this is without requiring a resource intensive hose run wheel washing system. This will ascertain compliance with council regulations.
Installing Truck Rumble Grids
When installing the grids, we recommend utilising a rock pad either side of the grid along with heavy duty decking mesh. This will also protect the vehicles from any potential damage whilst using the grid. It is important to select an appropriate location for the grid. This will assist in ensuring that any sediment runoff will flow away from the roads.

Need A Steel Road Plate Too?
It is worth considering whether you also would need steel road plates on your site. They are commonly used in conjunction with the grids. They can be used to cover trenches and provide access over areas which are generally unstable or constantly muddy. Ensuring that vehicles do not get bogged in these areas.
