purpose
Also known as reinforcing access platforms, stepover platforms or bridges, these platforms provide walkway access on formwork decks that is much safer.
Formwork step over platforms create cross over points over exposed steel reinforcement beams, pipework, or other obstacles on a formwork deck.
They can also be used as light weight pedestrian bridges over freshly poured concrete. A safe working load of 225 kilograms covering a length of 3000mm x 600 wide and 400 mm high help minimize the risk of tripping whilst crossing reinforcement or other obstacles.
